Personally or professionally we do the same things again and again and we expect different results! Sounds foolish but this is what happens most of the time. It happens in personal life and it happens in professional life. One of my client, who is debt ridden for last few years came to me and complained that for last years he is unable to get outta rut and he needs my help. I told him, I cannot help him financially as I have no knowledge of his field. He was insistent on attending my training. After spending some time with him, I realised though he has been trying to work hard, however, his efforts are going down the drain because of the same reason that he applied everything in same way and could not think of new option. He had same goals and same path. First step we had to take was to correct his goals, and once we had new goals, we could put the light on the new ways to reach those goals which devised an altogether different way, I am so glad he is moving gradually toward his aim.
Another client came to me, who is on the verge of divorce after 13 years of married life and he is wondering, despite of the fact he did everything its failing. He sacrificed his career, his life for this relation and it is failing. He also had same issues, the things which were pricking her in the first year of marriage have been pricking her after 13 years too. Anyway, they are divorced because he wanted to be separate but he wanted to be stress free through training.
Another one came to me with three broken relationships where she had been cheated by 3 boy friends, when we pondered over her choice we realised she has a habit of getting attracting to a particular types of guys and they turn out to be same as she is attracted to similar kinds of guys and eventually the result also is same. After much discussion, she realised she needs to change her choice of guys. She is successfully married now.
In all these cases, we can see, until you change the way you are doing things result would always be same. If you keep repeating same mistakes, you will have only one result..FAILURE… so you need to change the course. You are allowed to do mistakes but please do not repeat them. You learn from your mistakes and then get on with the life with a new zeal which will take you to success.
