One lady was going through marital problems. She loved her husband dearly but still they ended up fighting every day. She was living at parents place for past 5 months as she could not live with her husband peacefully. Daily she used to cry. When she came to me for help, I asked her to go and share her feelings exactly the way she shared with me. She was shocked. She said that how could she do this? Well when you can share your feelings with a stranger why not with the person you love. Do not worry about how he would feel. Just believe in one thing that you love him and you are going there to create more love. But he hasn’t told me anything, so how can I say anything. Do not worry about that. That is our ego which keeps us away from what we truly want. Just go and open up your heart. You are going to create love. Situation needs love, who brings it does not matter. She started focusing only on one thing that she was creating more love rather than if he is not doing why should I do it. She went and expressed all her feelings to her husband. She could not hold back her tears. Her love came out. She loved him dearly and he loved her dearly too. HE also shared his feelings, accepted where all he had been wrong and how he could not gather courage to come and talk to her. He was grateful that she could gather the strength to talk to him. She told him, that when she could focus on love, she got all the strength. They patched up and their relationship improved after that tremendously. Because they both realized the love they had for each other. Love gave them strength to over come all the differences.
Ego makes us feel powerful but inside we become weak. It separates us from our loved ones and makes us feel insecure. A person full of ego would always feel insecure inside as he would be worried always, what if someone else becomes more powerful than him. He/she would always try to prove himself better. However, love believes in oneness. It will always make you one with the other person where you will start gaining true strength. A person who is focusing on love never has to be scared of anything. WIthout any fear you become most powerful. Love dissolves all the boundaries and love gives you the strength to overcome any challenge. Believe in love and be love. Let love guide your heart not ego.
