Q: Why do people do bad things?
A: We all have good and bad both inside us. let’s say, we have both God and Devil inside us. When we do or think of something good, we nurture our God and then that becomes strong inside us. As the good inside us becomes stronger, it starts guiding us, and we become further better. When we do something which is bad, we nurture the devil inside us.
Q: Please elaborate.
A: You go to a shop and you purchase something for 300Rs. You pay the shopkeeper, 500rs and gives you back 300 by mistake. Now, it is upto you to give it back or not. If you give back, which is the right thing, then you have nurtured your good side. If you do not return the money, then you have nurtured the wrong inside you.
When you keep doing this, the bad inside you will become so strong that it will take over your will power and you will end up doing more harm to yourself.
Q: Is it the karma you are talking about?
A: This entire Universe is connected. We all are a part of one Universal body. We all are connected. Let’s say, you put a burning match stick on a part of the body. The message will goto the brain and it will come back giving the burning sensation. Now, the burning effect of pain will be on the same body part not on some other one. This is how the effect is. When we do something, the effect is felt by who so ever did it.
Q: So what shall we do?
Human beings are given will power. With that, we can choose the good or bad, right or wrong. It is up to us what we choose. Whatever we choose becomes our navigator. Do not let the bad guide you. Let the God inside you be your guide.
