Sometimes, there will be times in life, when we will feel that there is no one to guide us, which path to take, whom to trust and where to keep the first step. We would not know if we would have a land to take the next step or we will see the next day or if we will be safe. If we would be safe or our families and loved ones would be safe. We feel a darkness around us and we would not know, what’s there in the darkness. In the most difficult times, our faith will guide us and will help us in sailing through everything.
Covid times have shaken up everything in our lives. We used to have an image of the world and that does not exist anymore. A slight cough might scare us. We do not know, how our finances would be, if our children are safe or if there will be enough food for everyone and worst, if we will be alive. I read a news that during the second wave, many families killed their own children and then committed suicide and also, many people committed suicide as rest everyone died in their family.
It’s heart wrecking to see and read such news. And it does create fear and this is fear, What if there is a reality? Well, have faith. Let faith be the guide when it’s dark. Surrender to him and ask him to guide you, take care of you, hold you, give you strength. People have seen a lot and may see more and sometimes when we hear stories, we realize, their faith is stronger than fear My husband’s grandmother, who is almost 100 years old, shared her story that, there was a plague in the village and people kept sitting in the fields for more than a month. She was hiding behind a wooden almira for more than a month in the fields holding her little baby (Who is now my father-in-law) and she was scared, but her faith was stronger and today my family exists because of her courage and faith.
Do not lose your faith in the toughest of the times, have faith that you will sail through everything and you will be fine. You are taken care of. If there is evil, there is God too, who is always stronger than evil.
