She was young and beautiful. Was a great achiever. She was compassionate and graceful. She talked to the peon also like she would talk to any elder at home. Everyone loved her. She always helped everyone with an open heart. She was a single child. She did not marry because she wanted to take care of her parents and she did. She served them like a son and she was happy and peaceful about that. After her parents passed away, at the age of 55, she felt very lonely and she slipped into a depression. She felt like she had nothing to look forward to. Though deep down she always feared that. Her friends helped her during that and finally, she found someone. She married a widower. But like fate had decided to test her, she was ill-treated there and was not accepted by his children. She got separated and now, she had bigger problems as she had left her job to get married and settle in another city. She had a tough time but she wondered how she was helped. It was not about money. Sometimes, she received the services as a gift like one friend gifted her a parlous service for an entire day. Someone took her out on a holiday. She received many gifts. She had to manage finances but she felt she was supported. She felt the Universal love from every direction. When she shared her story, I realized, we all have to go through tough times but when we have good karma backing us up, the Universe comes out to help. What if it’s otherwise?
Tough times and good times are a part of this life cycle. There is no one who is spared. But if we have always helped others, and lived our life honestly, we will have Universal help. The tough time gets easier. But if we have a bad karma following us, the tough time gets tougher.
