She always grew up in a very conservative family and more than what she should do, she was always told, what she should not do. She did not know what she could do and thus she did not get an opportunity to build her confidence. For everything she felt she should not do which eventually meant she would not be able to do it. She felt she had no identity. She felt she was of no use. She felt everyone was using her like a door mat. She always waited for others approval before doing anything. One day came where no one was left in her life to give approval. She got divorced and she did not know what else to do. She was left no where. She felt dead inside her living body wondering what all she could not do and then felt what would happen of her. Did she need a Messiah but there was no one. Uptil now, she had heard of herself that she was of no use. One day, she looked into the mirror and though what could she do, she did not know. But she kept asking. Finally, one day, when she was crossing the road, she saw some paints and papers. She felt that she could do this. She picked up, colours and papers. She drew some and she drew more.
Then her paints were picked up by a designer for printing on clothes. She knew she was creative and she had a talent. She did good for herself in life. She believed in herself rather than going by all the time what others were telling of her. She could change only when she thought of changing how she was thinking of herself.
Buddha said if you think you can do it, you can do it, if you think you cannot do it, you cannot it.
So if you really want to change your life, change the way you are thinking about yourself. If you think good of yourself, people will think good of you and if you think bad of yourself, people will think bad of you. If you think life is good, life will turn out good. If you think life is bad, life will start becoming bad.
So better start building a good thought of yourself.
