I meet so many people who have been trying to explore spiritual path for years and that is no less in number lets say 20 years, 30 years, are wearing white clothes and applying different marks of spirituality like sandalwood on forehead etc and still they say that it has failed. It has not been helping them. They still do not see any salvation. It does make me wonder that why it is happening. They have been trying hard in life to connect with God and why have they failed. They sit in front of Idol of God and still are unable to connect with God and it does depresses me and them also. I am no Guru or I am no one to say that which path they shall follow. However, it does make me wonder. First thing what I have been able to see is, everyone has own path. You need to know what works for you. What works for someone else might work for you too but might not also. Second thing, you cannot use spirituality is not an escape from life. If you try to escape from life and become a refugee of life, you would always crave for life and spirituality would stay as a mere cloak. It is way of being. I do not believe in compartmentalizing life in worldly and spiritual paths. Everything goes along. You live in this world and you live with yourself too. The third and most important thing is, you have the God inside you. If you look for him outside you will never find him and you will always be searching as you are looking at a wrong place. Like you cannot have Indian ocean in Delhi and if you need to be at sea, you need to goto Mumbai. So get connected with yourself first, so that, you know who you are. Once you know who you are, you will not need to know anything else as you are the one.
