Met a girl, who was so low on self esteem that for everything she felt that she did not deserve anything in life. I asked her why and the answer she got was because everyone says so. She received lots of love when she was small and she felt she deserved best of the world. However, as she started growing up, she started meeting people, she started feeling that she did not deserve anything and she was living just in a castle in air. So she started telling herself on everything that she did not deserve it. The result was she was always treated badly in relationship as her husband always felt that he could not walk with her in the society, she could not even do well in her job and finally she accepted a simple job of data entry despite of having really good qualification, her face also had lots of pimples as she was always telling herself that she looked very bad.
However, there is a point in life, where we all have to take a stand for self and do what all we can do take charge of life. Her moment also came when no one wanted to be with her. She felt that she was living this life, so that she could be with everyone and because of same people are treating her like a door mat and no one wants to be with her. Some anger, some realization, she decided to do something about herself. instead of telling she did not deserve anything, she started telling herself, I deserve everything. I deserve all the prosperity of the world and I am open to it. Within few days, she started rebuilding her life and she wondered if she was blocking everything by saying she did not deserve it?
May not be to that extent, but we all have such things in our belief system. So let’s shed away all beliefs and tell ourselves ” I am open to abundance of health, wealth and love”
