One gentleman approached and shared that he was always angry. He wanted to get rid of his anger.
So I asked him, why was he feeling angry? He shared many things like what his brother was doing in business, how his wife fights and does not do things as she should be and how bad customers act.
Fair enough. All the things would make us angry. But we cannot change those things. If these things are making us angry then how can we control our anger? Simple, we need to change the way we look at them. If we look at them, we would feel angry. What if we stop looking at them.
First thing, we need to make a decision. I am a peaceful and loving soul. When we decide like this, our mind starts guiding us, what we can do to be happy and peaceful. Second thing, when we look at certain things, they make us angry but instead of looking at what others are doing or should be doing (because no one can meet our expectations) we need to start looking at what we are receiving and what we are doing. The focus shall shift from what more we can do and that would definitely make us peaceful. because that would tell us, someone has met the expectations.
Do things which would make you peaceful. Be grateful instead of complaining. Be loving instead of being angry. Be happy instead of being frustrated. Help as much as you can and do as much as you can. You will be happy, loving and peaceful. Tell yourself, every day, every moment, I am a happy, peaceful and loving soul.
