There was a 50 years old gentleman who had established own business. He nurtured his business like his own child. Who so ever was a part of his business received same love from him. Everyone just loved him back. His business was growing so well, everything was getting nurtured with love. The way he talked to his people was like the way he would talk to his family members. There was so much of love flowing in there. But things changed when his 25 years old son joined. He had inherited traits from his father but also from society and his mother. He always thought that they were working for him rather than working with him. He always ordered them rather than discussing with them. Love was creating way for love and ego started creating ways for ego. Soon it started triggering others ego as well. They also started behaving with arrogance. His father could not tolerate this and wondered why and how this had happened. It was a wake up call for son when he felt that profits started dipping in and people started leaving company. They were able to fix many things with special measures but not everything.
We can see many examples of humility and arrogance in our daily life. We know the source and why it is happening. But the point here is, we need to choose what we want to be and what we want to have. It is not for others but for self. It is not about how we want others to see us. It is about how we want to see ourselves. Also what we want to receive. If we want love, we need to deal with humility, which would come from love. If we can handle arrogance and let it be, then we can be ok with ego. But no one likes to receive arrogance. So the only way to change that is to deal with humility which only comes from love.
So how we can be full of such love?
First of all genuine love for all, this Universe, self and whatever work we are doing. Second thing filling up self with compassion where there is no charity or help, where it is like everyone is your part and you need to treat everyone with same love and respect. It is about believing that everyone is a part of you rather than lesser or more. A thought of lesser or more is ego! Ego creates separation but love makes us one. Why we need to choose love because this is the truth. We ultimately have to walk the path of truth. We can’t run away from who we are. So we have to walk the path of oneness ultimately.
