Someone was watching TV. And was watching loads of TV. On the TV, he was watching some horror movies and I wondered what he was getting by watching so many horror movies and he said, I get the thrill. Sure he liked it. Then I asked, how is it helping you in anyway? He had no answer. Then why are you spending hours on that?
What do you mean, by the fact that it has to help?
See, whatever we are listening, watching, reading and things around us, they all are the source of information. Now, this information either will nurture our mind or will spoil our health. If it is a positive information, it will nurture our mind like good food nurtures our body. What kind of information like positive thoughts, motivational videos, healthy discussions etc. If information is not positive or is bad, it will spoil the mental health. It will create patterns, which will make us dumber or aggressive or something like that everyday. Because this is what we would be repeating in mind mostly. Its like look at a picture for few seconds, then close your eyes and try to think about something. That picture will interfere in thinking pattern. Now, more and more think about, more and more it will influence. So it is like eating junk food for the body.
How it is impacting our future?
Well, our future depends on what we are thinking right now. We think in images. So whatever images we have, our future will be the manifestation of those images. Which means, if we are feeding in negative informations, our future will be what we do not like. But if we have positive information, we would start having positive patterns of the brain and we would start creating positive future. So we really need to start nurturing mind with positive information. We need to start think how we would like that to be in future. We actually can create a better future.
