We can learn from anyone, anywhere, anytime. Few days back, I was standing in my kitchen along with my cook. I was preparing something more and I asked her, if she wanted to take along. She said,, didi you pay me enough and on time. I am a hard working lady. I am satisfied with what I earn. Then she continued. She said that, if I would have an intention that you all (Means various households where she is working) should give me something as a charity, how would I earn. i am earning good because I want to buy everything. If I would want to take from you, why would God give me money to buy those things. I was happy and yet surprised with her thought process.
I have always heard since child hood that abundance comes with intentions. Somebody, who has a big heart, more giving, not cheating, willing to work and honest and has a bigger vision in life will have more abundance. Someone who is always intending to take money or things from others, always giving with a feeling of lack or not giving also, will have limited resources.
I always like talking to various people about their money thought process, especially to those, who have become millionaires/billionaires and have made something from zero. Few things I have found common in their thought process.
1. They are grateful for what they have.
2. Instead of ego, they do know that source is God rather than “I” doing everything. (May be different experiences have trained them)
3. They are very giving. They feel very happy when they give.
4. They are happy to spend rather then feeling bad about expenses.
5. They are very loving and forgiving of others.
6. They are more focused on money and earning it rather than wasting energy on others and their negativity.
7. They try to keep everyone along.
8. They are honest, want to work for it rather than someone doing something for them.
9. They want to give back to the world, rather than taking more from it.
10. They feel abundant . and God as their source rather than lack even when they have less money.
11. They believe in their hardwork and Universal reward.
