There was a very peaceful person. He was always smiling. His wife came and shouted at him and he answered with a smile saying no problem. i will do it in a right away. His friend was supposed to come and he had been waiting for him for hours. His friend called up and said will not come. He said no problem and he sat down and started doing another work. He could not go where he was supposed to go but still there was no wrinkle on his face. I asked him, how he maintains his peace? Why is he always smiling.
He smiled again and said that I do not see any reason of getting angry. People who are angry generally have one or other problem and I do not see any problem. i see only grace. There are two ways to live life and two ways to see this world. One is everything is bad and people are bad and we have problems. Other way is everything is fine and good. We say have faith, God is there with you, whatever happens, happens for good etc. But do we actually mean all those things? Do we trust them? If we actually trust them, we never have to worry about anything. in that case there is his grace in everything. I have decided to live by the things which we actually talk about every day. So I have decided to believe that whatever happens, there is his grace in everything. He is there in everything, so everything is sacred. So I accept that if it’s happening, happening for my good. I accept his grace. When I accept, I feel I am receiving his grace. If everything is his grace, there is no reason to be angry or something.
Listening to him made me wonder, do we realize how much we are blessed?
