Do you believe in God? Yes.
Do you believe in particular God and place? Yes.
Do you believe in anything else?
Yes. I believe in everything that gives us strength and that builds faith in us. Whether it’s by closing our eyes or by folding hands at a particular place. Whether it’s a church, temple, mosque or a Gurudwara. Whether it’s a particular temple or a particular mosque. Whatever gives us that strength, makes us feel strong, gives us faith that yes, there is a power which is taking care of us, there is a place where we can surrender, there is a divine light which can pull us out of every darkness, there is a power which can guide us through our blues, I believe in that. And yes, we all have that power inside us and that faith inside us.
But then why do we need places and names?
Few reasons: lack of self-trust. We are not told that way. If we would have been trained that way, we would have felt that power without going anywhere. Second thing, the human mind thinks in images. It needs some image to identify every thought process. that is how it kept personifying everything.
But then how a particular place becomes more powerful and strong? Because of our faith, there is more energy into it. We have heard of this thing. Faith can move mountains and yes it can. Our faith can bring God into everything. So it is the faith we need to have.
So believe in your faith, have faith in yourself and the divine light inside you. have faith in the divinity around you. You will see God in everything after that.
