So someone invited me for a religious custom at home. It ended very late and all the servants were not given meals even till the evening. I asked about them, and they said, oh let everyone eat. But why? Why can’t they be served at the same time? Why can’t they eat a hot meal? The gentleman said that you do not know anything. I wonder did he know?
One gentleman who had very big business placed another big order for the next consignment. He bargained a lot. And that gentleman had to agree. After the call the gentleman laughed, I will not let them save a penny in my deal. I asked why? He said I am a businessman. What others earn is not my prerogative. How much did you save extra, and he said that one lakh which I will spend on my next holiday. I wonder by squeezing someone else’s funds he wanted to sponser his holiday.
One gentleman always treated his parents badly. he always said that I am paying for your food and other things. He infact took out all the money from their savings saying i paid your bills.
He was poor and he always played victim card. He always went to his bosses and cried. he asked for money and they gave him. But he never returned it saying, where does it matter to them. He did not do his work well saying, I am poor, I need more rest. I wonder if being poor gives us right to be dishonest?
Yes, we have seen such things around a lot. I wonder which God is teaching us all this. Whether we follow God or not, whether we follow God inside or outside or sitting anywhere, which God is teaching us all this. God teaches us love. God teaches us compassion. God teaches us honesty. Can we follow what God teaches us? Can we start doing the right thing?
