Give without expectation and love without conditions…its easier said than done…anything we do, first we try to foresee the results…nothing is done without expectations..even loving…I have heard that parents dedicate their love to their children with no expectations..however, when a child is born, the father looks at him with the expectation that he would carry my name forward, mother looks at her new born baby thinking that he would take care of her when she grows old. Wow….its like a trade off…I do it for you and you do it for me….forget about responsibilities, duties..values….why are we taught to trade since the time we are born, you should help the poors, so that God will help you…you should pray for others..so that when someone else prays for you..you are blessed…why are we taught to do everything on the basis of conditions… why aren’t we told..this is the right thing and it must be done…so that we grow on a firm ground that I have played my role and I dont care about what I would get in return…why something has to be done out of fear of God..why cannot we do something just because this is the way to do the thing? We are told to read scriptures but we forget the basic preaching of every Dharma..doesn’t Gita tell us same? You should focus on karma not the result, result should be left on the creator?
You should focus on what you can do best rather then how, if , but and letting your energies go waste in futile directions. When you love, love with no conditions….you cannot put boundaries as it shows your own insecurities…you try to find reasons to love under those conditions however, the thing which you think is love diminishes when those reasons dont exist..that is no love..love is always eternal and binds everything and every being on this earth…you are born to love..thats our innate nature..putting conditions on love is putting conditions on own nature, if you do that..you will always feel bounded..rather then that..love without conditions..it will liberate you and your soul….you will realize how beautiful everything is without conditions or any boundations.
