I was just 28 years old, and I was talking to people who were from the age group of 50 to 70. I had been called to speak to them. By that time, I had already seen a fair share of my life and I had learned to let it go and stand up. I had realized that it is my choice to harbor negativity or nurture love in my heart. I will be whatever I will be nurturing. So I chose love. So while talking to this group, people started asking questions about the regrets, the things which they were holding against their loved ones, things which were still hurting them and how much they loved. Some people had things against their bosses too. I simply asked them to call up their loved ones and talk it out. I asked them to feel love in their hearts and then call up, rather than feeling the anger and then call up. When we will be filled up with love, our words will be chosen by love and when we will be filled up with anger, our words will be chosen by anger. So one gentleman called up his son, with whom he had not spoken in last 4 years and to his surprise, everything sorted out. HE wondered if it was that easy? So he asked, how did you grow up at such a young age and I could only say, I decided to follow love for everything I did.
When we follow love, things are easy and life is easy. We do not have to hold on to anything. We simply can move on and yes, not to mention the kind of peace and happiness we grow up with. When we come from the place of love, we come from the place of divine. Everything gets sorted out, everything comes to us in a free flow.
So how do we follow love?
When ever we decide something, decide from the perspective of love rather than ego. So a grandfather asked for his 4 years old grandchild. So shall we give in to all their demands and tantrum? Absolutely not. In fact, ask your self, why are you agreeing? IS it because of the fear or insecurity? Do you feel your child would feel bad? If that’s the case, you are not coming from the place of love. When you would follow love, you will be able to take a more balanced decision.
Follow love and it will always take you into the right direction.
