Someone came to my home and looked at the walls. All the walls are full of my daughters’ creativity. Hahahahha..which means they have decorated them with lots of crayons despite giving then boards and papers. She said that the walls looked so beautiful. it is a blessing to see this. SHe does not have a child. And she wants one. So the colored walls looked like a blessing to her. She shared that she wants all such things so much!
A mother of special needs child shared how much she wanted her child to play like normal children, break things, be a menace. When she looks at her child, it reminds her that how much attention and care he would need always.
A gentleman was exhausted and cursing his job. So I asked him, what if he would not have a job? He wondered how depressed he would feel.
A gentleman who got caught up in a wrong marriage (As the girl filed for divorce next day itself asking for money) shared that he really wanted to have all the daily hassle of a married life where his wife would ask 10 questions about his whereabouts. Where she would call him and ask him to get some groceries. When he would go home, she would say take me out. How much he wanted to pamper someone.
Sometimes, what we feel as a problem or a struggle, actually is a very big blessing. Ask someone, who does not have that.
Everything in life comes as a package of some good and some bad. It is like a day is completed when it has both day and night. It is upto us what we look at. If we really want to be happy, we need to see the blessings, feel the gratitude and express it too. Life will be the most beautiful experience to have.
But if we learn to look at the darker side of everything, every blessing would appear dark. We need to find the light to see the blessing.
