One lady called up and shared that I have so much faith in my God. I always wonder over the thing My God! Anyway, so I did not say anything. Next time, her son was ill, she called up again crying saying she was scared. After listening to her finally I said, have faith. She screamed that what faith? My son is sick and if he was there why he is not taking care of him. Why do I need a doctor? Why do I have to see him suffer so much. Well, there could be so many reasons for that. I again said same thing have faith! He is taking care of all. Sometimes things happen for a bigger reason. Sometimes may be something bigger is getting treated, sometimes it’s just the infection or it could be anything. Faith is not about that nothing negative would happen. It is about believing that he is always by my side. It is about knowing that I am being taken care of. It is about knowing that whatever I am doing, he is supporting me. Faith is about surrendering that he is doing what’s best for me. And it is not My God! It is having faith in God, who is inside everyone. Who is same to everyone. Who is the creator of this creation.
She wondered what all I meant but in few days her son was fine. Then she came back again and asked what did I mean? I asked her, if she never slapped her son as a child and she said she did. But why did she do that, she was the mother. She was only supposed to love. She said that if she would not have slapped, he would have turned out bad in many things. Sometimes, it is for the child’s best interest that mother has to take second route. So the child needs to believe that whatever my mother is doing is best for me, even if it means she is slapping me. It is about having that faith!
She understood the point and yes faith is about believing in his love for us, no matter what. Faith is about he is taking care of all of us and doing what’s best for us when when we are most down! Faith is about loving him back and believing in that love. Faith is about having faith!
