I see people going to temple or any place of worship to meet God and I go too. I am not an atheist. I do believe in God however, I do believe in one more things, for any place to become God, it already has to be God. You put a sticker on a wall or on a table and start calling it God. The sculpturer starts chipping a rock and says its the idol of the God. These all the small personifications of God. As I said something to become God has to be God. Table can become wood as it was already wood. Ice can become water as it was already water just a different form. Wood cannot become ice and water cannot become table. So something to become God has to be God, just by carving something or by writing something on it or paining something on it, it cannot become God.
Now, if a rock or wood or brick or a place can become God, the person who is living being or an animal or an insect who is alive and breathing can also become God it mean they are also already god. It means everything and every being is God, you just need to realize it and then you would see the real God which is inside you. He is everything and everything is God. You do not have to search him, he is already there, if you search you will never find because it is a misdirected search.
