Recently I met two ladies who had been blessed with baby. The first one said that it is such a beautiful gift and she can never thank God for her baby. It is a beautiful feeling. But how do you manage and what about your career? She smiled and said that everything is worth sacrificing or let’s say there was no sacrifice, I just chose a different direction. It filled up my heart with joy hearing her words. After that I met another lady whose baby was born around same time and she was screaming for help. She said that it is such a task. You have no time even to comb your hair. Babies are such a mess. Whole day you keep cleaning their poop. The way she sounded like she really needed help and may be she did. So both the ladies are into similar situation but one is happy and the other one is excited. It reminded me of a gentleman, who was laid off from his job and then he started a dealership firm which closed down too as that company opened own dealership centers. After that he started own company and he became a very successful businessman. I asked him about his experience and he said that it had been such a fun journey. He said that he used to wait for what’s next! I am sure it must not have been easy when one source of income closed down before another one opened. He immediately said that what’s the fun if it was easy?
Having a baby is a gift of God and for someone it could be challenging and for someone, it is a beautiful gift. Business closing down and then having courage to start new is a tough journey but to see it is an opportunity to grow, we need lots of strength for it. Every situation in life which we feel is difficult for us, we can try to find gifts in it or we can keep crying over it. If we would try to find the gift wrapped inside it, we would always grow stronger and rise higher. But if we would start seeing it only as a problem, then we would be sitting and crying over it. So whenever there is a challenge ask yourself:
1. What is in it for me?
2. What it is trying to teach me?
3. Where is it taking me?
Generally when we ask a question, Universe and various forces start answering in various forms but if we still are unable to understand, we can ask for guidance. It would come from any direction. Problems in our lives are created so that we can learn and grow. God has no intention of troubling us by giving us problems. Every challenge is is placed meticulously in our path so that we can be better like when a racer is being trained, obstacles are placed purposefully, so that he could learn to overcome them. Once the racer learns to overcome a certain level of obstacles, the size of obstacles increases. Similarly, in life when we learn to overcome a certain level of problems, the size of problems increases. We all can look back in life and find this pattern and that is why we feel why it is never ending! Now it is upto us, how we see it because this is a reality!
