We all are composed of five elements. In Sanatan Dharma we call it Panchtatva or Panchmahabhut or in English, we call it five elements. Earth, Water, Air, Fire and Ether. We need to be in constant touch with them to have a healthy life. When we feel stressed, we feel good if we get out in fresh air. When we feel stressed, a shower of fresh water helps us in relaxing. When we sit with our feet in a flowing river, we find it therapeutic. We feel good when we are in a green jungle. To relax from city atmosphere, we go to some jungle lodge. Because those plants, touch with mother earth, fresh air, it starts healing us.
We live in high rise apartments, which are closed from all the sides, we are far far from nature. We try to connect or we may forget. But we need to know, for a healthy and happy mind and body we need to be in touch with every part of the nature. We can be healthy and happy, only if we let nature become a part of our life style. We need sun, we need moon, we need fresh air, we need plants, we need earth and we need everything else. If we leave touch with anything, slowly and gradually the blanace in our body starts going down.
So what do we do?
If you are closer to nature, you are blessed. If you are not, make an effort. Sit in fresh air, open the doors and windows, have more plants, as much as you can, step out, walk on the ground, take sun light, take moon light, eat on the ground, sit on the ground, sit by tree, talk to trees, let the trees touch you, let them heal you, let nature touch you and heal you. You do not have to do naything. You just have to let nature touch you and it will start healing you.
