what is absolute freedom? it is freedom from pain and sufferings and how can we gain that? only b being enlightened. where we realise that Any soul or spirit is a spark of God. It takes different life forms to reach to its origin. It originates from God. There is only one God or one consciousness. It originates from god and it has to merge into God infact it is never separate from God. It is one with God always. A river emerges from sea when the sea water becomes rain and then the rains make a Glacier and Glacier makes a river. As it’s originated from Sea and it has to merge into sea. In the process, it passes through different phases, plains, rocks, many blockages, cities, somewhere its narrow, somewhere it’s wide and then finally reaches to sea. Once it is merged into sea, you cannot differentiate between the river and the sea. Then everything is one vast sea. Same way, the soul is like a river and now we are talking about the life of entire soul not just one form it incarnates into. Like a river goes through different hurdles, the soul also goes through different hurdles to finally merge into the consciousness. Like a river has an innate quality that it would always flow toward sea, a soul also has an innate quality to merge back into consciousness. Now after this does not matter how many hurdles a soul goes through, it will always move toward light and would work subconsciously to merge into its source. We all are programmed in a way that we would always try to move toward light. We all would want to be in light. We are programmed in a way that we would like to choose light. However, to experience light we need to be aware of darkness too. This world is about polarities. For Yin there is Yang, for a man there is a woman, for every good there is bad and for light there is darkness. To know light you have to be aware of darkness. After you go through darkness you can have the real experience of light. If it’s all good and there is no bad, you do not know then actually what can be good or bad. If its all light you cannot know, what light is really. You need to have the experience of both light and darkness to understand what really light is. After having the knowledge of both, with your free will when you choose light, you really start moving towards light after that. However, as all the souls are spark of God, we all are guided by light. We all have an inbuilt guiding system, which guides us about good and bad and this is where the soul is connected to God. More you listen to it, more you get connected and more you ignore, more you block your own source of emergence. once we realize true self, we can gain absolute freedom. After that it would not matter in what form we are. Our true self would always be free.
