Someone called up and said that for 8 years I followed divine and now I have lost faith in him. Now, I do not know if he exists. Why do you think he exists or not? He replied that I saw people turning against me and my business going down. And what does faith have to do with it? I believed in God! and? He should have protected me. Who says he is not protecting you?
God is always there. HE was there. When he was born in any form, Ram, Krishan, Jesus or anyone we know, they faced hardships more than any one of us could tolerate. Shiv had to drink poison. God is like our parents and when we are small, they protect us more and always keep us in their arms. But when we grow up, they let us make our own mistakes, learn and grow up. In the same way, when we start growing up in life, God allows us to learn and fall and walk better. So, we face hardships, we also face facts of life that good and bad both exist. God is never far. He is always inside us. He is one with us. God let us go through everything so that we could find ourselves. We travel a journey of self-discovery. We find our own divinity and how strong we are, how divine we are. This is the journey of self-enlightenment. Where we discover our own divinity.
When God is inside us, we have everything inside us. We have his creation, we have his power of creation, we have his tolerance, we have his love, we have his forgiveness. Enlightenment is the journey to find that. Without traveling the journey, we cannot reach our destination. There is no shortcut to that. We need to have faith that he is there. We need to have faith that we will reach there. We need to have faith that he is guiding us to reach there. And there is no journey that comes with no obstacles. We cannot lose faith in difficult times because we can come out of everything by holding the rope of faith. Because we know, it is to guide us to protect us and he is there.
