En- is a prefix which mean within. So enlighten means light with in.
Someone wanted to know what is enlightenment and how can he be enlightened? All I could say way see the light within.
We all are beings of light. God made us in his own reflection! Wait! Is it his reflection or is it God descended himself in everyone in various physical forms or else how would he manage all of us? I can manage my home and me but I cannot manage anyone else. So God can take care of all of us, control us, guide us, do whatever he likes if he is the one who is present in all. This light is not God’s reflection, it’s God himself. The soul the consciousness we talk about is actually God himself. That is why he has been managing us all.
He is not far. He is with in us. He is who we are. We are who he is. There is no difference. Yes, there is a difference. He wanted to have a total experience, so he himself created that ego. So that in the waking life, he forgets all and does things which give him total experience. he himself created his own loophole. So that he could also be a part of what he was creating> Sometimes, I feel it is such a big master plan.
So how do we get enlightened? First thing to know is, it is doable. It is not something which is far. Because this is what we have been told always. No one can take that right from us because this is who we are. Second thing, have an intention and have a desire. Third thing, start working on it. How do we do that. First of all, start seeing same light in others too. See that the other person is also you. And you are him too. Then ask for it. Guide me, give me and take me there. It is a journey which no one else can travel for you. It is a journey which we all have to travel on our own.
