He was hurt. He had a traumatic childhood. His father was in mental asylum. His uncle kicked him out of the house when he was 7 years old. He begged, worked hard, rubbed the floors and paid for his father’s medical expenses also. he was doing better in life now. But he was hurt. He was full of anger against his uncle and anyone who did not help him. He could not build any relationship, he could not trust anyone and he had no friends. He wondered what he could do?

I asked him, if you are sitting on a chair full of thorns, what would you do? To stop that hurt will you get up, or will you keep sittinga nd curse, how you had to sit there, how it was hurting you, who made that chair etc?

Its simple, get up and move on. It is upto you. If you continue sitting on that chair and blame others, it is upto you. But still it will keep hurting yu. having a hurtful past is similar. We continue sitting on the chair full of thorns, we blame others, we feel the pain, we feel angry, and we feel we have no choice. We wait for it to change, we wait for someone to receive the punishment as we wait for the fair justice by the great God. However, the fact is, first of all we need to get up from that chair and move on. This will immediately release the pain and then the wounds will start healing. Also, we do not turn back and keep looking at the chair wondering what’s happening there. We simply move on. We do not want to return to that chair. So simply move on. Look ahaed. Create a life ahead of you. You can

So how do we do that?

Take a decision.

Write down your pain, let it go.

Forgive everyone in your mind.

Decide that you will not wonder about their fate.

Start thinking of what kind of life do you want. Start seeing that, write that. Start working on that.

You will see a major shift in your life after that.

We all have painful experiences in life. We all learn and grow. We all need to learn to get up from that chair and heal our wounds.
