Do what you want to do, not what you are asked to do.

When you live a life as per your choice, you are happy and stress free. You do not find yourself under any compulsion. You do not feel you are forced. You do not feel that someone is asking you to be something which is against your wish and which you do not want to be. What can provide you more happiness than the fact that you are not bounded. We are bounded by lots of norms and regulations. Most of the time we cannot break them, we have social pressure like responsibilities toward family, work pressure like we need to earn, may be different situations of life which force us or we feel they are forcing us to do something against our wish, so under all these pressures if we are already doing what we want to do, we have the biggest reason to be happy as I mentioned in my previous book happiness is about how you believe it to be, its neither in future nor in past, whatever is there it is now. If you work against your own happiness, you would end up building stress as you do not want to do and you would pile it onto others as well. So you become a reason of others stress as well as own stress. Why do you want that, building up a mountain of stress?

Even if you end up doing same thing, when you do something which you want to do, you take the responsibility of your actions and the outcomes or else you keep finding the reasons to blame others. So do what you want to do and take the responsibility too. Stay happy and stay responsible. Stay strong!!!
