So here we go! Classic blessing! Heart felt desire of all the times, which I hear from all the parents and being a parent I feel the same way! “MY CHILD SHOULD NEVER HAVE ANY PROBLEM.” But I know how life works. I know why things happens. I know life will enter from the back door, when we are protecting the front door. I know we are here to learn from the challenges we face in life. I know that we take birth to learn and to achieve something. I know its Karma and I know thats a good Karma too. I am aware of the fact that without having any challenges to solve and lessons to learn, there is no purpose of taking birth. So things will happen! We gotta withstand every storm. We need to train our children on same.
So we cannot protect them from any challenge. We can train them to handle things in life with calm and composed mind. We can train them to be better human beings. We can train them how to move ahead in life with a smile. We can train the, how to live life to the fullest.
A soul takes birth for many reasons. For karmic reasons and also to evolve. To grow further as a soul. This conversation is reminding me of two stories. One was , When Arjuna asked Krishna about parental relationship in kalyuga. So krishna takes Arjuna to a shed where cow was giving birth. When the calf was born, the cow starts licking it. It did not stop after the calf was clean. People separated the cow from the calf with great difficulty. But the calf was already injured. So krishna says that in Kalyuga it will be same. People will love their children so much that they would end up hurting them. In another scenario, two gentlemen plant some seeds and start nurturing them. One was very caring, giving them everything, nutrition and water and everything. The other one gave just little. So when the storm came, the first one’s were so week as they did not have strong roots, they got uprooted. But in second scenario, because he gave them just little, those plants had strengthened their roots in search of nutrition and water from the ground that they developed strong roots. So they survived the storm.
Both the stories explain the message clearly. Give your children just little, giving them clear passage does not mean, we love them more. We need them to develop their foundation, courage and strength. So that they can withstand every storm in the life.
