One gentleman came and asked, if he wanted to start a new project but he is unable to. Everytime he wondered about something new, his head was clouded with old worries, experiences. He invited me to his place and I saw that everywhere there was something. Lot of things were not needed. I needed water, so I went to the kitchen. There were so many boxes stacked, so many grains. Old and dusted and I asked him, why are you not throwing them away. They are infested. HE did not say anything. I guess it was the habit. I opened the fridge, it was full of stuff but lot of things looked very old. I asked him, where would you keep new stuff, if everywhere it is full. There is no space. How would you climb into an elevator which is already full. You would wait for the next one. Let’s say if you want to plan your next endeavour, you also need have space for the new energy. What if something new wants to come in and doesn’t find any space and keeps waiting for the next round? There is no space in your mind, kitchen, house, fridge!
So he cleared out, starting from fridge. it was quite a mammoth task for him. But he did it. It took him a month. After a month, his home felt so much lighter. Everything looked so clean. His fridge had only what he wanted to eat. He was happier as the energy was lighter. I asked him, if he wanted to plan then and he smiled. He said that as I was clearing stuff, it was clearing my mind too. I have a plan in place and he started discussing the plan.
Old is dead and new is always refreshing. When you enter a room which has been locked for sometimes, you would not like it. It has old energy and fresh one hasn’t come in yet. You do not like to wash your feet into a stagnant water. You would like to sit into a flowing river. We do not like old and stale. We like it fresh. So how can we keep old and stale in our mind and at home. CLear out what’s not required. give it away. Clear out what’s not serving in your mind. let it go. Feel lighter feel better. Welcome the new.
