Be grateful!!!

sheetalUncategorized

Yesterday morning when my 4 years old daughter woke up, she hugged me (which is our daily routine) and said that her angel has told her something. I asked her what did her angel say? She said that the angel said, be grateful. I asked her what does it mean? She thought for a second and said that may be to be happy. I have tried training them on gratitude like when they wake up, I would say, I am so blessed to have you thank you, God, for giving me such beautiful children, then I would say in the night, thank you, God, for giving us such a beautiful day and such an abundant life. But I think I have not used the word grateful as such. So I started explaining her and while talking to her I realized it’s just sufficient. It does not need anything else. Be grateful. While writing this, my heart is full of gratitude, and I am full of smiles. I am feeling peaceful and wonderful. that is the power of gratitude.

Why do we need to be grateful?

Well, we have many reasons. But still we do not need reasons. Because there is so much being done at the front and behind the scene also. I remember a story where one angel was always watching a gentleman. He was kind and happy and always helping others. So one day he had an accident and he was bed ridden for one month. he cursed God and complained about the accident and how God did not save him from the accident. But in reality, he was supposed to die that day and that angel saved him from death. And the bad fate was averted. So there is so much happening behind the scene, sometime we may never know.

Be grateful that you are breathing, be grateful that you are kind and you are able to help, be grateful that you are able to help and be grateful that you have so much that you can help. Be grateful that someone helped you. be grateful ….and the list is never ending.

I am grateful for my existence and the love and the help have from the Universe. I am grateful for the work I am able to do. i am grateful for the strength I have. I am grateful for being kind and giving. I am grateful for the family and home I have.

Thank you God and love you God.
