One gentleman who was very short tempered asked, how could he control his anger. He shared that he would get angry on everything. Earlier he felt he was justified but as he would get angry on things which people are doing wrong but gradually he realized it was pushing people away from him.

So I asked him, why he gets angry? What does he feel? HE had no answer. So his task was to know why he gets angry. He started observing his own feelings. He realized he was getting angry for no reasons or may be as small as if someone did not serve him glass of water right. He also realized that these things could be ignored. More and more he started watching his own emotions, more and more peaceful he became. Whenever he was getting angry he knew now, so he could watch it. Second thing he knew why he was getting angry. Third thing, he knew it was not required. Fourth thing was he also started realizing his own presence. Where he was, in what moment he was and with whom he was. Making him realize this he also started realizing his own important relationships. He knew what he had to value and how he could protect his important relationships. Which also helped him in maintaining his better relationships in business too.

We all need to follow. We do not realize what kind of trail we are leaving behind. So we need to start realizing that and we would know what we are doing.

Start watching own emotions. Do not judge them. Be aware of them. be aware of what you are feeling and why. Start understanding them and you will be able to have a much more peaceful mind. As you will also release what is not required. I would say watch yourself. It will also help you in accepting yourself.
