Reacently i got hold of Dharam Shastra, or Laws of Manu, it is guidelines about how one should be living his or her life. I was happy when I picked up the book that I am going to read something really meaningful but when i started reading it, I was ugh….how one should sit and wake up and in which direction to look at while eating and sleeping etc..I was feeling so aghast by what I was reading. If I would implement just 10 of them, i woudl always be living a life of boundation and I would feel less free. Then I read Guru Granth sahib, Bible, Vedas and Bhagwad Gita. Every word is so much full of love. No realigion teaches you anything other than love. They show you the guidelines to live your life and to make it a path of love. No religion says, i am religion and you should do this. There is only one religion you are born with and that is the religion of being human. Rest all are just guidelines to guide you. You do not have to bind yourself anywhere. However, what is happening is, we are following more of rituals, we like doing things as we feel they bring us closer to God, but no boundation can take you to God, only freedom can take you to God because you can love only when you are free. So start living your religion which is to love instead of just following the rituals.
