Two familes meet and they decide that their children are good enough to spend their entire life together. They decide on basis of many factors
1. Same caste—Point to be noted India is only second in the world on the list of discrimination beating even Pak, Afganistan, US, Australia where we are complaining about Racial attacks on Indians, a country where people discriminate between own country brothers. Anyway lets see second point
2. Financial Status— Both familes should be of same status atleast they shd appear to be of same
3. Mostly their horoscopes should match …. Lotta factors to be considered like The girl should not be Manglik, No Kal Sarpa Dosha, no Nadi dosha and lotta things like this which I may not be aware of so much.
4. After all this the guy should approve of Girls beauty, she doesnt have right mostly to speak in this regard as she would be snubbed by saying what do you do outta good features after 1 year its all same and few things like this..come on why doesnt someone tell this thing to the would be groom too?
5. Now, here starts the process of Interrogation. The girl is taken to interrogation cell, where she is questioned by all the family members sister in law, husband, mother in law, father in law and list may grow depending on the number of family members…

Now after this initial huphalla….they decide on a budget, how much the brides father would spend and on what and what all will be given in kanyadaan..which is a refined name of Dowry.
After that grooms side tries to their best to get the budget extended assuming that this always happens.
Then the big day comes or may be like a doomsday..where the in laws still treat the poor girl as a commodity which they earned in a trade off…they never sell their son, they let someone to put a medal on his uniform after paying money…and if something happens they threaten that medal would be returned, they forget that the medal in question is an alive humanbeing who has emotions, who feels pain, who likes to be happy and respected.
They forget she is going to give you your heir, this person is the reason of your sons happiness and who is finding own happiness in the happiness of your entire family.
They want more gifts, they want to be treated royally or else your daughter would have to listen to endless tonts…and in return the poor medal girl cannot even speak a word..if she gets tears she has to hide them….if her family comes she cannot talk to them..or in privacy you can say..she has to do all the chores..and if she even opens her mouth…she has to listen “Kaam tou karna hi padta hai” dont know if they hired a free maid or their son got married to someone.
Now the question is first of all…Is the guy dumb..he doesnt have any common sense….the girl he may have chosen coz two families decidde to tie their knot..but still he promised her lotta things..cant he see what is right n wrong? He call himself educated and where is his wisdom…education isnt a degree it should give you the sense of right and wrong..you are 30-35 years old..and atleast you have that much brain..if you have then use it fairly if dont..why the hell you spoiled someones life…
I detest this system of arramnge marriage where the girl is traded off as a medal and the dumbstuck guy just keeps finger on his lips!
