Accepting the self…

We are so much conditioned to pick upon others and on self since the time we are born…everyone tells us do this..do that…we are dependent on others and we stay dependent…we wait for their approval and start imposing those conditions on self..we start telling self..if I do that i am good..if I do that then only I am good..however, we forget that…no one is perfect in this world and if you lack self acceptance..you will always look for others approval…

Let’s take an example…take a plastic ball..like one used by kids to play around..start wrapping it up with what ever you wish to…rubber…tape…webbing…whatever size it becomes..its core is still hollow..its same like self..if your core is hollow..you have not accepted the self..you will always look for others acceptance…and you will never be able to full fill their conditions..result would be you will always lack acceptance inside and outside…in return, you will pick on this world and you will pick on people as you are finding faults with self..you will impose that on others…

If you want make a list of things which you do not like about self and whenever you want to get depressed have a look at it as the list would stay may change in size but would always be there..

You need to accept the self as the way you are..love yourself unconditionally…because if it is based on conditions..you will always have one or other condition..I remeber once in a party one person asked me how are you..I replied..its great..as he is always in habit of arguing and questioning..he asked what makes you feel great..I told him..if there is something which makes you feel great then there will always be something which will make you feel not so great…so feeling good is not about having something..its about always feeling and accepting…

Accept the self as you are..love the self as you are..you will see how beautiful this life is and how beautiful this world is…
