We have always heard of a famous saying ” Dharmo Rakhsita, Rakshita” Which means, one who protects Dharma, Dharma protects him. When I had heard that, I was very small and maybe I did not understand the depth of what it actually meant but now I do. A few days back, a doctor was stuck in a treatment where the patient had suffered. His seniors were blaming that he had prescribed medicines after taking some favors from the medical companies. However, there was nothing like that. The doctor had prescribed as per the guidelines and as a test to new medicine after consulting a senior doctor as well as the patient. Finally, the patient took doctors side and said that I have full faith in my doctor and I have no complaints.
In another scenario, a gentleman had pledged that he will always make the honest deal in his business and he will always keep his words of making payments. He faced many challenges but his words were always kept. He always stayed honest even if the situation was he had to bear some losses, which he did initially but in long run, he made it big.
You take care of truth and truth will take care of you. You take care of this Universe and this Universe will protect you. You take care of your faith and the faith will take care of you. You take care of God and the God will take care of you. Now, here taking care does not mean that you sit in front of Goddess Laxmi for hours and pray and offer her things. It means, keeping her and her ideals in mind while dealing with things like dealing with love and honesty. Whatever profession you are in, you stay true to that. Even if you will have to go through some challenges, some tests, you will be fine.
Do not have any guilt for your profession. Serve it honestly and fully. Like Krishna said to Arjuna that Arjun, pick up your arms, as this is your Dharma even if the people standing in front of you are your own people, follow your Dharma. So follow your Dharma, does not matter with whom you are dealing and you will be protected by Dharma. You will not need any proof to prove yourself. Your Dharma will always be there for you.
