Few days back I met a girl who was independent, working, had her own business. She had been divorced few years back and she was managing her finances on her own. It was so beautiful and inspiring to talk to her. So I asked her to share her journey as a business woman. It was very rocky! I asked her didn’t you feel fear when you decided to leave the job and start something of your own. She started smiling and said that she did not know what would she do net. But she definitely knew this was not for her any more. So one day she left the job and for few months she kept trying different things. Though that time was full of struggles but she realized that she hadn’t felt that peaceful in last many months. That’s why she knew what she did was right.
Moreover, she was feeling fears, insecurities when she was in the job. What if she would say something which her boss or boss’s favorites would not like. What if they would ask her to leave. What if she would not perform. What if she would not have a good job. Many things were happening at job and everything was making her insecure, giving fears and taking away her peace. But When she finally left the job, she had felt so peaceful.
She further shared that she does not have any fears now. She had fears when she was in the job. After leaving the job, she knew she had to do something and her entire focus was on that. Her entire energy was going into creating something rather than fearing something.
After talking to her, I felt so peaceful and realized that a life of no fears is the most peaceful life even if it means living on the edge.
So what do we do now?
Do all you can do, live your dreams. Give them a chance!
