Some people have lots of challenges. They face one after another. It is like they are not meant to rest. They do feel tired and they wonder why so much. Is that they have done so much bad that Karma is coming back to them?
First of all, we have a lot of negative training about facing many challenges in life.
There are two metaphors I would like to discuss.
- Let’s say, we have two servants. One is a poor worker and one is a very good, hard worker. He really can do well. Suddenly we have a gathering of people at home and the work increases. Whom would we deploy more? I guess the good one. He would have to work harder. So good people, because they can do more, they are stretched more always. What do they get in reward? Well, little extra incentives and lots of God’s love.
- In the second scenario, if we have to send a soldier to fight a very big war, what would we do? We will send him for very strict and rigorous training. So that he can handle everything. IS this training easy? NO!
So people who are going through tough times, who have faced many challenges and are facing always, stop seeing it as a Karmic punishment. Maybe you are being prepared for something bigger in life. Maybe you are better, so you are stretched more.
You would know deep in your heart that you are being protected, you are being loved and you are being guided. Find your strength there. Do not give up. Keep going and you will discover yourself.
