“My life is the worst. Nothing happens as per me. I am always angry!”
He called up and without any hello or any other greeting, this was the first sentenced I heard. So I asked him, what do you want? He paused and didn’t say anything and then after a few seconds, he said that fat that time he wanted peace.
Fair enough! But how many times have you thought of peace? What do you think all the time? He shared his business as well as relationship problems.
Fair but what do you want? I get it and i want peace. Then what do you want?
You do not get peace until you get what you want. We feel so helpless and angry because things are not happening as per what we want. However, the problem is we do not know what we want. And if we know, we do not think about what we want. Because we keep thinking about what we do not want, we keep getting what we do not want creating chaos in life.
Let’s look at it this way. There is a room and it has 10 chairs. Suddenly 100 people enter into this room. Everyone wants to have a chair. Whosoever reaches there will get it. Now, 10 people have occupied and you feel you do not want them to be on the chairs. It should have been someone else. The problem is now it’s taken. However, instead of this, you name the chairs and then the desired people come and sit. How would you feel? HAPPY!
But what did they take the chair this time? Because you tagged them before they entered. Same way, every day, in our lives we have a limited number of chairs in mind. Every day, many thoughts are entering. Everyone is trying to occupy the space in mind. If we do not tag the chairs with the name of the things that we want, we would always have someone occupying the space which we do not want. So we need to start putting tags on the chairs in our minds of the things which we really want. Once we would see that chairs are occupied by what we want, we would see those things in our lives too as our life is the manifestation of our mind. We would be peaceful!
