So the question came!
Do good people get bad times or tough times?
Why do good people get tough times?
If good people also get tough times, then why should we do good things. Anyway, everyone is going to have a tough time!
A few examples I would like to share which we all know already. Rama is considered as God. He went through lots of tough times. He was a Prince, he grew up in Gurukul and then had to fight many demons. Then he got married and had to live in exile where his wife was kidnapped. When he finally met his wife after fighting a long battle and came back, out of pressure he had to get separated from his pregnant wife and live without his children. If I look at it from the worldly perspective, he never had it all.
Krishna was born as a prince. But had to grow up as a Shepherd and had to fight many battles to get his kingdom finally.
Jesus was crucified and he went through lots of pain!
Even the greatest people born had the toughest times. Why did they go through such tough times? Even when the lord was born himself (I believe he had all the good in karmic account) had to go through so much.
So why so much?
Well, everyone is born with a purpose. Greater the challenges, bigger is the purpose. But if we turn negative and start doing things, add on to everything. But if we keep doing good and keep thinking good, those tough times would be much smoother. One girl shared that when she had a problem, someone always appeared for help. She shared that she always tried being there for anyone and everyone, where ever she could be. So that answers! But if we have not thought good, we have not helped others, we have not been good, tough times and good times would anyway come. But they would be much tougher and good ones would be much lesser.
