A lady told her son always that be a good boy. One day when he was able to stand and understand, mother what is a good boy, she told him that one who is always honest. And why do we need to be honest? Because it makes you strong, it gives you courage and this is the way. She further told him that you may hear people otherwise sometimes like these days people who lie or cheat go far in life. But be honest. Speak your truth. If you will support truth, truth will support you.
Lie has no age. Whether its truth or lie, both always come out. When lie comes out, it ends there but the truth lives. If you are on a boat which eventually has to end and very soon it always ends, then you would sink. But if you are on a boat which would never sink, then you would sail through even biggest of oceans.
The son picked up and promised her that he would always be honest in life.
So many times, he got into the situation and he was about to speak lie but he decided not to as his mother has asked only one thing in life. But eventually he shared that he was all good and the person who had lied was always caught eventually. He shared an incidence where someone had put a blame of charging a cut from the vendors and giving them business. But as the vendor came in front of everyone, he denied knowing him. This did not satisfy the management. So they changed his department and he was unaffected. However, the process still continued and one day person who was taking cut was caught. His respect increased and his value in the company increased.
It is not rare that truth would come out finally, everytime it would come out. It may appear that it is getting delayed but it is not. The person who is lying, does not matter how strong he is, how perfect he is in hiding, one day all the shields would be broken and he would be exposed.
So what do we do?
Be honest in your work and dealings. ( Do your work honestly. Do not kill your time anywhere, give your best)
Be honest in your relationships.
Be honest in your intentions
Be honest in helping people.
Be honest in your money transactions.
Live an honest life and you will know no fear!
