One gentleman came to discuss his business problems. He said that his father handed over a very big business to him. Initially, it worked a lot but in a few years it has tumbled and he was struggling financially. So while discussing we found out many areas of improvements and also, how he was taking his customers for granted. He said that they believe what he tells them and he knows how to handle them. nowhere I heard about giving good service etc. So what do you want them to believe? He said that we are the best and they are getting the best service. But are they getting the best service? He smiled and said well, sometimes we just prove it!
So do you believe in God? Of course and I do lots of things to keep God on my side. So he gave a list of things he had been doing. But do you know everyone has the equal presence of God inside them and the customers are God too? Serve them like you are serving God. Would you cut corners if you would know you are serving God, not your customers? He could not raise his eyes. But he knew what had to be done.
So he met again after a few days and he shared that his business was improving. Now every customer is served like he is serving God.
Whatever work we are doing, it is a service to God. God is the one, who is bringing livelihood and money to us. It’s not the customer or the employer.
Give your highest service to whatever work you are doing!
