I was sitting and wondering about God. He is so mysterious yet so open. He is so far yet inside us. HE smiles and he loves. He gives us all we ask for. But what does he get?
I was wondering about all such questions and at the same time my maid came in. She shared that she had asked for a particular thing from God and now it’s fulfilled. So she would like to go to temple to offer her prayers. When she came back, she shared that she fed one poor guy who was sitting there. While doing so she felt she had completed her promise. I think many of us go through similar thing on various occasions.
So he gives us all, whatever we ask for. But what does he get? Whatever we are offering also goes to people around whom we are helping. So what does he get? What would a mother or father get, when they watch their children sharing and helping each other. They would feel happy and satisfied. They would feel the love through them. Similarly, this is what God would get. He feels satisfied. But then what can we give him? That answer also had to come. So went to meet my mom, hugged her and gave her something which I had bought for her. She said that for a mother, love from her children is more than enough. Yes, this is what a parent would ask. Rest all, whatever we have we got from our parents only. They want love from us and this is ll what God would want from us and wants from us. He wants love, rest all he keeps giving us.
So can we love him?
How can we express it?
May be by knowing he is our heart, feeling that love which we have for our parents and then doing what he would want us to do. And above all, by being happy and peaceful! Embrace him in your heart and that’s all he is asking for.
