Cook for happiness, eat for happiness, eat with happiness.

I met my mom and the food was extra tasty. I told her, how I felt and I was praising it again and again. She said that she did not do anything extra. It was a very simple food and she made it with simple spices. She was right! So I observed her when she was cooking. She was singing her prayers, kind of dancing on the tune. It felt like she was meditating with food. She was very happy while cooking. She transferred that happiness to us always. The vibrations in her food was always so high that it could lift anyone’s vibrations and that’s why it was always so tasty.

I saw him praying on food always. Hindu culture always talks about that. Infact I have seen even church followers or Islam or Sikhs, everyone is taught to pray and give a thanks for the food before we eat. It might sound orthodox but there is a scientific reason behind that too. It purifies the vibrations. It cleanses it off the negative vibrations if it had. Blessing the food changes it’s energy.

So what shall not be done?

Do not cook when you are angry or negative. You will transfer that to everyone who is eating. Those vibrations will become a part of everyone’s body and mind. I remember once a lady did not want to cook and whenever she was cooking, she cursed herself and the cooking. She always wondered why her house has a fight almost everyday after dinner. But when she realized this, things started changing.

Do not watch negative content on TV while eating food. Either focus on food completely, eat it with happiness or watch at least some happy and positive content.

Do not curse food before eating. Like it’s too oily, it’s not good for health, why shall I eat this made by her, it will make me fat or many things like that. Bless it, be grateful for it and then it it.

Food is making us, our body, shaping our minds. Keep it pure and you will feel pure.
