He grew up in a temple and learned everything a priest would know. He also learned the belief system of a priest. So he felt that because he lived in the house of God, he was superior than others. So there was this iron smith, who really wanted to be closer to God but was not allowed to enter. So he would stand outside the temple to listen to what all was happening inside. He heard that every thing has God and it is your faith which rings everything alive. So he picked up a small piece of iron and told it that from today, you are my God. He started worshipping and offering it everyday. While working he would talk to it like he was talking to his best buddy and he would pray to keep him honest. Like it was said that God is in everyone and everything. God became alive in that piece and started responding back. God would talk to him and guide him and everything. God would also eat food with him. So one day, that priest was passing by and asked that iron smith that he wasn’t seen for a long time outside the temple, what happened. So with purity of his heart, iron smith explained him all. The priest could not believe and said that he wanted to see for it himself. The iron smith invited him. So he started talking and the piece started talking back. The priest could see the iron smith but not God. So said that the iron smith was fooling him. Iron smith complained to God that what had he done. So God put a condition that if he sits in your lap then he can see me. For a priest it was a giant leap as he had to shed his ego of being a priest and take help of an iron smith but still he was so curious he did as ironsmith asked. As soon as the ironsmith started talking, God started replying back and this time priest could see everything. He started crying and fell down in God’s feet. He sought forgiveness. The lesson which God asked him was to spread love as God is one with love.
Yes, God is one with love. The moment we feel love, we feel God and that’s why we all feel good when we feel love. It’s always divine in whatever form it is. Ego is the absence of love or let’s say is the darkness inside us. Follow love to follow God.
