Once Narada Muni asked God, how do you decide who has given more and who has given less. God asked him to stand with him and watch. So one big money lender came and donated big money to the priest. From that money priest, distributed food to many poor. Next came in a man, he took out money and then kept it back. Then he took out a smaller amount and gave it to a poor child and asked him to buy something for himself. He walked out with a grin and told himself, I helped one poor child. Then came a very poor man. He sat there and cried and gave a small penny. he told God that he wished to have more to share more. But that’s all he had. God smiled and told Narad muni, so who gave the maximum. Narad Muni said it is obvious, the money lender. God said look at all the events again. Moneylender gave from the money which he had stolen from the poor people by keeping their assets. The second one is not even in counting. The poor man was very poor and earned barely to meet his ends. He gave all that he had.

It is not about how much you give. It is about with what intention you give and with how much love you give. Money given with pride and ego or wrong intention will not bring any good luck. But any help or charity or service given with pure intentions to serve creates the purest of the energy cycle. It has the power to do best for everyone who touches it. It will serve the most.

The power of giving is in intentions and love rather than the quantity. Whatever you give, give with the whole of your heart, purest of intentions and love.
