Take a decision to think positive and be happy.

It was 18 years back. I was working with a gentleman who was an American. It was a very transformative experience. He had become my very good friend. So I could share my expert comments with him freely. I was being judgemental instead of being compassionate for everyone and I always had a better idea. But he started questioning my every thought giving me the other perspective too. Like if someone did not turn up and there was a lot of work in the office. I would say he wanted to avoid work and he would say, what if his child is really sick. I remember once it was Diwali. So one gentleman gave a very expensive gift to his friend and his friend gave a very small gift. So I said at least he should give a gift of equal value. It is not nice. My friend smiled and said that what if this small amount was also very big for our friend? So I tried finding out and got to know that the other one actually was going through financially tough time. So after that, I started asking myself what if? This question in my mind for everything made me a better person, made me a person with an open mind, made me a fair person and more loving person. I will always be grateful.

After this, what I realized was, my thought process had started becoming very positive. Also, that gave me a big relief. When I started thinking positive for everyone else, I also stopped worrying that others are thinking bad of me. Second, thing, I was relaxed and happy. I was less angry. When we think people are bad, we are angrier inside ourselves. However, when we think they are good, we feel better as we are in the better world. So in my mind, I created a better world. After this, I realized I felt better about life too because I started thinking positive for everything else too. If something bad happened, I asked what if? Like there was a loss of money, so instead of thinking I lost, I felt what if it was supposed to be a bigger loss but God saved me by giving me a smaller one? As soon as I felt like this, I felt happy instead of feeling sad over the loss.

So take a decision to think positive today and be happy!
