There was a small boy in a village. he was never afraid of anyone. He was most loved by all. Once the feudal lord came to his house to collect taxes and they did not have any money to pay. He told them that that year they did not have any harvest, so how could they pay. That boy was taken to the feudal lord and he repeated the same thing. Out of joke, the feudal lord asked him, what should we do? The boy was a daring one and said that you shall support us. We pay you taxes to you for what? What are you doing in return for us? When we have no money to eat, how can we pay taxes and that time, you should take care of us or you shall step down from the level of lord. The boy looked into his eyes and said everything. The feudal lord wondered about his courage and asked was he not scared. The laughed and said that why should I? The feudal lord looked around and saw many eyes from the village looking at this whole thing. He knew if he did not do the right thing, there might be unrest in everyone and everyone may rise against him. He forgave everyone’s tax that year as there was no harvest and sent food sacks to every home. The boys parent’s asked him, how he managed that? The boy said that he followed his own light. He did the right thing. He did not focus on how bad the feudal lord was, he followed on what right had to be done.
It is there for every situation. There will always be darkness and light together. A day becomes complete with it’s 24 hours of day and night. If Universe has day on one side then, it has darkness on the other side. This is how this whole system is designed. Instead of looking at the darkness, we need to follow the light inside our heart. A small ray of light can clear up any darkness. You do not have to focus on the darkness inside others. If you do that, it will trigger your darkness too. That’s why so many times, we also feel we have done wrong too, because we got too much involved in the situation. Always focus on your light and set your intentions right. Universe and it’s whole light will back you up.
