Sometimes people who have been through lots of bad experiences, ask questions. Why do we have to be good if we have to suffer? Why we did not retort to easy and bad one? We should have taught the lesson to them also. Why we have been good? Why we had the fear of future which the bad one’s did not have …….
Yes, we all have been through everything. We have seen both good and bad. We have suffered apparently when we have chosen the good side. But in the end, good always wins. And we shall not choose right or wrong on basis of the judgement of future or fear of future, we should choose right because it is the right way, how harder it may be.
I can pick up lessons from history. Ravana was bad and Rama was good. Ravana had all the wealth and lived as a king. Rama was a prince but went to exile and could not give any facility to his newly wed bride. HE had to fight the battle, come back and lose his wife again when he got kingdom. His children were born without him and when he found them, he lost his wife. He always suffered. Krishna was born in jail but Kansa was living as a king. Krishna grew up without parents as a shepherd. Could not marry the girl he loved most. Then he had to leave everything and start afresh when he established Dwarka. HE was doing everything in battle, yet everyone else was given the titles of greatest warriors. He did not get the praises for battle.
Despite of all this, we worship ram and Krishna. We do not worship who got titles or who had wealth. Because they always chose the right path.
So whenever you have an opportunity to do bad, do not do it and whenever you have an opportunity to do right thing, do it. How hard it may be, but it would be worth living for.
