Few people were sitting and talking bad about what’s wrong these days. Starting from a problem with children, society and world. Everything was wrong with people and attitude as per them. Everyone was corrupt. Finally when I could no longer accept all that, I asked, what are you doing about all this? They were surprised with the question. Yes! If you see there is some dirt at your home in a corner, you would ask to get it removed immediately. You are living in same world, what are you doing about it? They were looking at each other and then said, what can we do? Well the first thing is, if you cannot do anything, stop talking about that. Because when you talk about something, you are adding to it.
But then how can we help? We are so small. All these problems are so huge.
It reminded me of the story of a sparrow. Once there was a fire in a jungle. She wondered what could she do? So she started going to river, dipped her wings, absorbed some drops on waters in her tiny wings and sprinkled them on fire. Then again and again. So one elephant asked her, how would she help in this? She laughed and said, when the history would be written, then my name would be in the list of saviours not in the list of dumb watchers. Elephant smiled and went to river, got the water in his trunk and started helping her. Seeing him, more elephants started doing this.
It is not about how small you are, it is about having that intention. Your genuine intentions will be supported by the Universe.
So what do we have to do?
Be a reason for somebody’s smile.
Be a reason for somebody’s abundance.
Be a reason for kindness.
BE a reason to spread and follow honesty and truth.
Does not matter what others are doing, atleast you start following the values which you have deep inside you. Be a reason for goodness in this world.
