Few days back, met a gentleman in 50s. he was smiling and happy and he peacefully said that his life was so complete. I asked the depth and reason behind that statement and he shared his life experiences. He said that I have seen all kinds of times and I expect that. Everyone has own journey. But then he shared that his happiest times have been when he had his partner around, his kids around whether he had money or not. But worst times were when he felt no one was around. I asked him, when was that? Like once he had some problems with his wife and they were not together for few months. At the same time, he incurred some business losses, and his greatest fear was how would he manage alone and for whom shall he fight. He felt so lonely which was so killing. But when everything was fine, he decided to create a better and happier relationship with his wife as all the losses and that gap gave him time to realize what was more important to him. After few years, again when some down phase came in business, which was bigger than the last one, he did not feel the pinch. This time, there was no fear, no sadness, infact he was feeling very strong. he felt that if she was with him, he could do anything in life. He shared that her presence made him realize, it is not about, someone has to do something for him or some work, all the things can be taken care of, but that absence or presence which defines loves, which fills your heart with love, that emotional support, that motivation that I have to do something for my love, that my love is there by my side, can never be replaced. This completeness comes only with love.
When you have your loved ones by your side, everything is complete or else, everything is incomplete. You are strong with their presence and you are weak with their absence. If you have love, you are happiest, if you feel there is no love, then you are lonliest, weakest.
